Visas : biometrics exemption for some young canadians

Attention !!!

Visas - Limited Exemption from the obligation of personal biometric data collection for the Canadians

From now on until the end of 2010, as an experiment, young Canadians who apply for a visa within the framework of the France-Canada Youth Exchange Agreement or a visa for private study will be exempted from the biometric data collection.

As a result, all the applications for a visa under the France-Canada Youth Exchange Agreement (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, and 2E) or a study visa, including that for the minor students attending a school in France, can be sent to the consulate by mail. Please include a copy of your credit card and a payment authorisation as well as a pre-paid, letter-sized, self-addressed Xpress post envelope for return.
